We know where they could get a sign that is sure to be eyecatching

Where am I? Signs are cities' answer

It can be hard to tell where one suburb ends and another begins. That is leading Shakopee, Prior Lake and Savage, once distinct towns, to consider new signs. ... Shakopee's first new monument will go in as Scott County rebuilds a bridge at the point where Hwy. 101 enters the older part of town. After that it hopes to enlist private-sector sponsors for the most part, while admitting that brings up questions of taste -- and making sure it's more civic than advertising.
