Showdown with school critics subsides

The St. Francis district dropped its demand that the group change its website's domain name and agreed to run its newsletter ad. The St. Francis school district has backed off in a confrontation with a group that runs a website critical of the administration, dropping a demand that the group change its domain name and agreeing to run the group's ad in a district newsletter. The group created the website, www.stfrancisschooldistrictfacts. com, after the November school board election as a forum for people who believed their views were not reflected in the district's newsletter, the Courier.
