Developer wants out of Heart of the City
Plans to build offices and a restaurant in downtown Burnsville hang in limbo. Anderson Development wants to void an agreement with the city to build on the last vacant parcel in the Heart of the City - an area long envisioned by city planners as a pedestrian-friendly showpiece of stores, homes and offices. In a letter to the city earlier this week, the developer cited 27 property title issues. Anderson proposed building two office buildings, two parking decks and a restaurant on five acres.
