St. Paul council members stress need for more light-rail stops
The St. Paul City Council's newest members are floating a resolution that emphasizes the importance of adding three stops to the proposed Central Corridor light-rail line between Snelling Avenue and Rice Street. Melvin Carter and Russ Stark, whose wards would include the line, also request in the resolution that a council member get a voting seat on the committee in order to advise the Metropolitan Council during design and construction of the line.
